Cabin itself was great and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, kitchen had the necessary, basic items and the check in process was outstanding. I would recommend staying here. It is very private, quiet and secluded, it's what we were looking for during our week stay. The beds were conformable, ac/heater worked great and the game room with the pool table and video game were awesome.Our kids loved the place.

This was our 4th trip to Gatlinburg and we came to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We have used this rental company twice with no issues. The cabin is very cozy and warm and just enough for 4 adults with the room for more if needed. We did have an issue with a one little spider but it didn't stop us from having a good time. We will look to rent this cabin in the future or the other cabins from this company so we can continue to enjoy or trips to Gatlinburg.

There wasn't any Wi-Fi in the cabin, which was fine for us but others may want to know about that.
The road to get to this cabin seemed very dangerous! Lots of hairpin turns on hills. If you aren't comfortable navigating these types of roads I would recommend only arriving during daytime hours and not when it's dark or has a chance of being icy!

A beautiful, older, clean, and comfortable cabin with a waterfall behind it. It is well worth hiking down to the waterfall to take some pictures! The inside has a beautiful fireplace that is perfect for drinking a cup of hot cocoa, while watching a movie or playing cards in the dining area. It was the perfect setting for our relaxing Fall getaway.

We had a great experience at Star Gazer. We even had a bear come visit us! It is a perfect cabin for a two-person getaway. There is only one cabin higher than this one on the mountain, so be ready for a winding climb in your car to get there, but it's worth it. It's the little things that set the good cabins apart from the others: cleanliness - it's obviously cleaned by professionals; appliances- all brand new; kitchen - the glassware, plates, utensils, and ESPECIALLY the non-stick skillets are in great shape; hot tub - it's very new and the fact that they drain and refill it after each guest makes big difference. We will be back! (October 2023)

Our group of 8 enjoyed the Star of the Summit. The star was the fabulous view. So beautiful. And, a mama bear and her two cubs visited one evening. This was a highlight of our trip.
The house itself is spacious and pretty well appointed. Very clean and maintained for the most part. We would consider staying here again as the house layout was good for our family.

We rented a cabin (Pigeon Forge Escape) for the weekend of Oct 7th for our wedding party. We are locals but most of our wedding party are from out of state. We wanted to pay for everyones accommodations for the weekend, and this place was perfect! The price point was wonderful for a 5-bedroom cabin. When we walked in, I was blown away because the home looked even more impressive than it did in the online walk through. Our children loved the game room and bunk room downstairs. The adults in our wedding party spent most of their time in the hot tub. There was ample space, and the beds were so soft and plush!
The only negative we had was that one of the fire alarms had a dead battery and started beeping in the middle of the night. I found replacement batteries in the kitchen, and it was a quick and easy fix.
We have already began planning a stay cation soon, and we will definitely look at booking with Bear Camp Cabins again

Any issues we had, they were quick to send someone to address. This is WAY BETTER than a hotel. Get a house fully equipped, for about same cost as a decent hotels. I recommend these cabins and would stay again.

The view - fantastic! The experience, amazing! We even had a few bear sightings sitting out on the deck. 10/10 would return to this cabin or others in their BCC collection pending the party size. Conveniently located right in the middle of all the fun activities and hot spots. The cabin was clean, well maintained and had a great hot tub out back. Grilling on that deck was next level. I hope to be back to The Smokies on a yearly basis and will absolutely be looking into another Bear Camp Cabins experience. Did I mention we got to see a few bears?!? ;) See y all soon!

Absolutely beautiful cabin. The furnishings were high quality and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dinnerware, flatware, pots, pans, cookware, bakeware, crockpot and just about every utensil you could possibly need including grill tongs.
The beds and pillows were comfortable and the linens clean and crisp. Bath towels were luxurious. There was absolutely no skimping on quality at any level.
A highlight for our 2 year old grandson was wading throwing
pebbles in the stream. One evening after enjoying a campfire, we watched a bear explore the area at the back of the cabin.

The cabin was wonderful. It is a combination of rustic and modern, well furnished with a comfortable couch and chairs, nicely and tastefully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. The two separate bedrooms were nice and the beds very comfortable. It is also by itself and surrounded by trees so it was very quiet. No traffic noise either. Great cabin.
We did have one issue. The second day, we were enjoying the hot tub in the afternoon after a long morning hike when a vehicle pulled in. A guy got out, grabbed a weed trimmer and started trimming around the cabin. We got out of the tub and went inside figuring he would be done in 20 minutes or so. Well, he finished the trimming in 20 minutes then proceeded to use a very loud blower to blow leaves from around the cabin into the woods. This went on for 1 1/2 hours when I finally told him to leave and that I was calling the management. He left. When we went back to the hot tub, it was full of leaves and the carpet around the tub was also covered in leaves.
If you can avoid the groundskeeper, this is great property to enjoy.

A beautiful cabin with an amazing view! It s like a little mountain oasis at Whiskey Mountain Lodge! It s a short driving distance from local small businesses to support, the National Park, and much much more! There s so much to do while in the cabin, with plenty of games, pool table, hot tub, streaming services! Our favorite part was able to see all the wildlife surrounding the area, we saw 4 bear cubs playing from the balcony. Staying at this cabin was such an incredible experience we will definitely be looking forward to future trips! If I could stay in the cabin forever, I would!!! 100/10 great experience and memories made!

Perfect spot for our family of four. The view was incredible! I appreciated that it wasn't a sheer drop off as we had our 2 year old in tow. It was close enough to town to do all the tourist activities but far enough to get to enjoy the quiet of nature. The house itself was clean, well laid out, and comfortable. We loved sleeping in the cool lower level during the heat of the summer. Absolutely no issues with check in, wifi, TV, supplies, checkout. Highly recommend!

They enjoyed the arcade game as well as the foosball table everyday/evening we were there. The cabins around us were booked too but I didn t even hear a noise from them. Really a nice place. I am so thankful we booked a cabin outside of Gatlinburg the scenic slow pace was so needed. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to the Smoky Mountains. We also utilized the tickets for Rocky Too Coaster and Big Creek Expeditions. Both were a lot of fun and great companies. The LeConte Mt Breeze is a beautifully furnished and cozy cabin for 6. The living room, dining room and kitchen were fully furnished. We brought, food, coffee & snacks. It was great. Only one complaint, the mattresses were in terrible shape and hard to sleep on. Use caution when driving up the narrow winding roads to the cabin. It can be dangerous. For some, it was a hair-raising experience, and for others it was exhilarating!

We had a wonderful time at our cabin for our first anniversary trip! I spent a lot of time in the Smokies growing up and my husband had never been. So, we went hiking and enjoyed the beauty of the park. The cabin was clean and had basic supplies. The hot tub was lovely to come back to after a long day. Our stay at the Ritz Carlton for the past 7 nights was all positive. It was the perfect place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our two daughters, their husbands, and 6 grandchildren. We appreciated the 5 king size beds and a private bathroom for each bedroom. Time spent relaxing and taking in the sunrise and beautiful mountain view, while sitting on any of the three balconies, was a favorite of all ages. We cooked most of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen (Be aware that, since COVID, the water/ice dispenser on the front of the refrigerator has been disengaged for sanitary reasons. Since there is no ice maker in this particular refrigerator, guests will want to bring drinkable water and ice to stock the refrigerator and freezer.) The recreation room was a lot of fun, enhanced by the Wii, which we brought with us from home. The indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub were both very clean, and the grandchildren loved watching some movies on the big screen in the theater room (note: the LCD projector will play several streaming services, but, if you want to play a video from your laptop, you will need to bring an HDMI cable, at least 6 ft long.) We were amazed at the prompt response of maintenance, even on Sunday, after we had a bathroom mirror become detached from the wall. The location of this cabin made our day trips to such places as Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park very convenient. However, some our best family time was on the days we chose to spend in this amazing cabin.

My 2 sons (14 & 11) and I stayed at the StarGazer Cabin for 4 nights during a Smoky Mountain Getaway and we were extremely happy with it compared to the normal hotel type stay we usually do on vacations. It was tucked away up a mountain just far enough away to feel secluded, with still being reasonably close to most of the things we did on our trip. We had mostly cloudy/rainy days so can't comment much on the "views", but the cabin was stocked with everything we could need for a great experience and we all loved it. Thank you

We were only 20 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and less than 10 minutes from Dollywood. We were able to watch the Dollywood firework and drone show nightly from the back deck as it lit up the mountains.

This cabin was AMAZING !!! The overall experience was fantastic. The views were unmatched and we felt very lucky to have had the opportunity to book this cabin. Watching the sun come up over one set of peaks and then set on another set was amazing. The very best part was that the loft bedroom is positioned to be able to wake up and look right out over the views. It was amazing. On clear days we could see out as far as where Clingman's Dome sits. On days when there's a little fog in the valleys its really relaxing to watch it move out as the morning warms up.
The overall condition of the cabin was perfect. Everything worked great. The hot tub was a nice little ending to our days and beginning to others. The clothes washer and dryer set up were very handy and worked great. Though many previous guests said they spotted bears on the property we did not, but we kept an eye out every morning.
The only thing that I would say is a caution would be the road leading up to the cabin and the driveway. It is are very steep and only wide enough for one vehicle. It's paved so traction isn't a problem but getting up there can require a little caution. The option for trailers or anything larger than an SUV isn't going to happen. We did just fine with our Ford Expedition but ran into others that had rented from other cabin companies that just couldn't get up the mountain.
We're going to try to book this one again in the near future and see the views in a different season. I highly recommend this cabin and this company.

It was a ways up there but once you arrived it was great ! The accommodations were perfect for the 6 adults that were in our group. The highlight of our trip was that a bear and her three cubs came onto the property . Momma came up to the front door. It was fun to see momma playing with her babies. Our cabin was set up on a modest hill so we could see down into a little hamlet as well as across to the mountains. The decks are surrounded with flowering trees and bushes and while we were there they were cushioned by the blossoms of dogwood trees.
The cabin was in pristine condition right down do all of the coordinating bedding, wall hangings, shower curtains and decor.
There were five things I wanted in a cabin: a view of the mountains, a hot tub, a swing, a pool table and a wood-burning fireplace. This cabin had them all.
It is located in the perfect location to access Cades Cove and Pigeon Forge, but far enough from the mayhem to relax.
When we needed assistance or had questions, the folks who care for this cabin were so kind.
Our main purpose for visiting was to spend Easter with our daughter who moved from our home in PA to Knoxville. We had just the sweetest time together here at this cabin, wear we belonged for a few days!

We had our 6 grandchildren with us and we all loved the cabin. We had rain a couple of days but the kids loved the indoor pool and the spacious game and theater rooms so the rainy days were not a loss. This cabin met and exceeded my every expectation. It was very clean and comfortably furnished, nicely decorated and spacious while still feeling cozy. I could not be happier with the Gritz-Carlton.

Brother Bear cabin with Bear Camp Cabin Rentals was an amazing cabin to stay at for our vacation! Not only was it super clean all throughout, the staff was so quick to remedy any situation that presented itself. Even downed trees! The neighbors who live near there are super sweet and helpful. It is a beautiful area and we can't wait to visit again!
One thing I will say, is make sure you have a vehicle that can trek up high mountain hills! Some of them are pretty steep to get to this particular cabin. But wouldn't trade the experience at all, even for those silly hills!

The team at Bear Camp rentals were great. They were available for any questions I had before and after the rental. They never made me feel rushed when I called. The cabin was beautiful and so were views. There was more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Pigeon Forge was a short drive away for anything we could need.
The big downside to this cabin was the odor of the water. The smell was so strong we used bottled water to brush our teeth and showers were as quick as possible.

This place is remarkable! We were as high as you can get at the peak of the hill, overlooking clearmountain views! Even if you want to get away from cooking dinner on your getaway. I found myself grilling dinner every night and cooing breakfast on the grill in the morning. Why would I want to sit in a restaurant when you can eat to views like this! The fire pit sits just below the grill and the sun sets in view of both. The family played bags in front of the fire, while the grill was going to a sunset. When you're done eating you can go inside, play pool video games or Foosball. It pays for itself! It was hard to leave and sight see.. However after getting away it was nice to explore and run into a Bear feeding in the green grass, not too far away at Cades Cove. What a prefect location to be close enough to site seeing, Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

Lovely, secluded cabin about 25 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you want to avoid crowds and don't mind a drive for amenities this is a wonderful choice. The bedrooms are on separate levels, if you are traveling with children keep that in mind. The arcade game, air hockey table and hot tub were all great ways to wind down after a busy day.

Cabin was immaculate and beautiful! Sits right by the road but probably only saw 5-10 cars the whole week we were there. There is one house next door but still plenty of privacy and the driveway is big enough to park at least 6 vehicles in. I was initially worried about how far away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg it was but it really wasn t bad considering we usually left in the morning and didn t return until the evening and therefore only made the trip to PF once per day. The cabin is very beautiful and has a gorgeous view of a farm with rolling hills directly across the road. I was extremely pleased with my stay and will definitely rent this cabin again in the future.

We stay in cabins1 to 2 times a year and this was my favorite cabin layout so far with all the main rooms on one level and only one step to climb to get in (my bad knee thanks you for that!) Although not the best views, loved the wrap-around porch. The living room TV was HUGE. Off the beaten path but only about 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Overall was great!

Privacy was the best part of the stay with fencing and gate entry. The cabin is amazing sitting on top of the hillside with tremendous views from every window in the house. With the lit stairwell of Dolly's brother's platinum songs, we felt apart of her greatness. The decor welcomes you and we didn't want to leave. We spent time around the kitchen and the rest in the gameroom competing. We suggest this home for everyone. The elevator made it easy for my 85 years old mother to view the whole cabin. Need to get away and need some solitude, this is your cabin.

We will definitely come back to a songwriters paradise again. What a great and comfortable stay! I especially loved all the porches. There are rocking chairs on the front porch, places to sit on the back porch and a lounging area on the patio outside the game room.
We gathered and laughed throughout the open kitchen dining and living areas, enjoyed light competition in the game room and made great new memories that we will cherish forever.

This cabin was perfect for our group of 7 with 2 king bedrooms and 2 pull out sofas. It's secluded, yet only about 15-20 miles from all the attractions. Very nice hot tub and fire pit area outside and a well stocked kitchen. Bear Camp was great to rent from and even checked in on us during our stay. I only wish our trip had been longer!

We were easily able to cook, entertain and relax. There are also plenty of spaces to have your own personal space to get away from the folks you are vacationing with if you need a little time to yourself. The game room was awesome. There s a big fenced yard so it feels really private and the views are lovely. We truly had a great time.
One of the things I always look for in a vacation rental is how comfortable the beds are and these were great! Everything in the house was set up very well, the place was super clean and is decorated perfectly.

WHAT A GREAT CABIN! It exceeded our expectations. We were in need of some relaxation and this cabin didn t disappoint. On the way to the cabin, the road runs along a stream that looks like there may be a place to play in it during the warmer months. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make ourself at home. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of linens and the bedrooms were comfy. We enjoyed making some of meals there as well as grilling steaks on the grill. We played air hockey, darts in the game room and enjoyed the hot tub. We had access to many wonderful things to do in town and we even saw some deer. The big yard was covered with beautiful fallen leaves. The driveway has a small incline to the cabin but that actually gave us a better view of the mountains. We will be booking this cabin again.

The cabin was super cute and cozy. The customer service was great and we appreciated the phone call, on our second day, making sure all was going well. Everything was as shown in the preview. It was perfectly secluded with just a few houses around. Thankful that the driveway wraps around the house. We loved the little extra outhouse cabin (toilet, shower, sink, laundry).
Things to think about: the cabin is much smaller that what I thought from photos. Photos make it look much larger. (But still perfectly cozy for four of us). The road gets very narrow right before cabin so be safe driving. The driveway is very steep but wraps around house. I was also very thankful I didn t bring my toddler. The steps inside cabin are very steep and no gate at the top of loft.
Overall I would recommend this cabin to anyone without young children. So quaint.

We so enjoyed our time at Amberwood!!! On the day of our arrival, Amberwood wasn't available due to a burst pipe, but staff informed us promptly and got us squared away for the night. The next morning we were allowed to move to Amberwood first thing and we were instantly pleased. Great location and comfy cabin. Though it can sleep up to 6 and we are a family of 5, it's a tad small if you're looking to spend much time in the cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. The hot tub and fire pit were utilized and we used the grill one evening too.

Would highly recommend both Bear Camp Rentals and the Majestic Highbearnation cabin. BCR was responsive, professional and accommodating. After hearing we had young children they went over and beyond to have the cabin ready for a beautiful Smokey Mountain Christmas. The view was amazing, the rec room was fun, the dining area was large enough for our entire family, the beds though firm surprised us and we slept like babies and the furnishings were lovely. We lost power due to a freak snowstorm but we had more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again!!

We had a family of 29 stay Thursday-Sunday and it exceeded our expectations! The pictures do not do the size of this cabin justice. There is so much room! The kitchen is equipped with everything a family of 30 would ever need. This cabin was by far the best we have ever stayed at, and will continue to book our annual Christmas family vacation here from now on!
There are more than enough blankets, pillows, towels, beds, space and seating for your whole family. I was excited to be able to eat all at the table for a meal for 30... that is rare!

Amazing place. A fire took our home last December,living in a tiny shelter we had no place to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. We booked this cabin and it was everything we expected and then some! It was even decorated beautifully for thr holidays! Everyone had a wonderful time. We all drove back to Knoxville with a blissful feeling. The beds are sooo comfy, the house design was beautiful with perfect lighting and nice blinds to adjust the light coming through the windows at different times of day. Left a nice tip for the cleaners even after we wiped everything down and swept the floors obsessively lol. So thankful for the blessing if being able to stsy here with our beautiful family. We had a great stay! For our family of 5- we have 3 boys, so the little room with the 4 twin beds was perfect for them and the king bed was fairly comfortable. We have stayed in many different places in the area over the years and this was a gem. It is an older property and the decor is dated, but it was clean and a great place to sleep! The only access is via stairs, so for those who need handicapped accessible facilities, this is not a good choice. The wifi signal was great in our rooms, much better than what we had at a recent stay at another property (different owners- much higher pricetag) just a month ago.
The location was great especially if your family is going to Dollywood or Gatlinburg.
We highly recommend and hope to stay again. Overall, this was a GREAT place for the price.

The cabin was exceptional. Very well constructed. Amazing views. Attentive staff. Nicely secluded, yet reasonably accessible. The only real negative was the hot tub did not heat up. That was really disappointing. Otherwise, we will definitely consider returning.

Quiet, clean, spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again. Everything was good, the parking, the staff and the room. The bed was comfortable too! The refrigerator was great since it was a decent size with a separate freezer and fridge. We were able to eat in for several meals because of all the room to keep items. Our room had a table with two chairs to enjoy our meals. You could sit outside on the benches if you wanted some fresh air. The room was secure and easier to manage with the door code and not having to keep up with a key card. We had a ceiling fan! The place was very quiet, we enjoyed a peaceful night s sleep the four days we stayed. If you are looking for a clean quiet comfortable place to relax after seeing all the sites this is the one for you.

It was easy working with Bear Camp Cabins. Our tv needed servicing and they were quick to fix it. I sure wish we had booked directly with them and not VRBO. We were charged a large service charge from VRBO, and at times, VRBO was not very friendly during our correspondences.
The View was spectacular! And, the house was very, very clean! We loved all the rooms and filled them up! The kitchen had tons of dishes, bowls, mugs, and glasses and we used all of them too. We enjoyed taking turns preparing meals and having multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, and stoves made it easy. The dining area was perfect for our big group.
We would recommend staying here.

With Deposit Protection, once inside this window, you may still reschedule your reservation within 12 months and receive full credit for the amount paid minus the deposit protection amount if you reschedule at least 15 days prior to arrival for 1-3 bedroom properties or 30 days prior to arrival for 4+ bedroom properties. Once the 12 month time frame has expired all monies paid will be forfeited.
Without Deposit Protection, no refunds or reschedules will be allowed.
